Description / Background

A light coloured granite column set on three steps of the same stone. Three plaques are attached to the southern face of the memorial. The top plaque is a bronze laurel wreath and flame with the words 'Lest we forget'. The bottom two are of dark granite and have the dedications inscribed in gold lettering. The memorial is located on Mulga Street, near the corner of Boree Street and diagonally opposite Barellan Oval.

Erected by the Barellan Sub-Branch and the Women's Auxiliary of the RSS & AILA in memory of the Fallen of World Wars 1 & 2.

Bottom plaque 2

To the Fallen Korea, Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam.
