Description / Background

The memorial is a granite block with a bronze plaque attached. Below the plaque is a metal colour patch in the battalion colours. The memorial sits on a concrete brick plinth in a raised bed of gravel. A flagpole is positioned behind the memorial. It is located at the entrance to the Bathurst Sheep and Cattle Drome in Heritage Park. The park property was an Army camp from 1940 until the end of the Second World War.
