Description / Background

Trachyte column with polished sides on which names have been inscribed with gold lettering. In front and to either side of the memorial are two small stone plinths.

West face:

Erected by the Citizens of Adamstown in honor of the men who enlisted in the Great War 1914-1919

East face - bottom:

To honour those who served in World War II, Korea, Malaya, Vietnam and Australian Peacekeeping Forces and commemorates 50 years of community service by Adamstown RSL sub branch 18th November 1987.
