Armenian Genocide Memorial


This memorial is one of the three components of the Memorial Park War Memorials. It is a sandstone block to which a bronze plaque is attached, commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Genocide of the Armenians by the then Ottoman Government 1915-1922.


To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Genocide of the Armenians perpetrated by the then Ottoman Government during 1915 – 1922 that claimed the lives of 1.5 million men, women and children. 24 April 2005. Councillor Terry Perram, Mayor of Ryde. Michael Whittaker, General Manager.
