Description / Background

A dark timber roll of honour with names printed in gold. The pediment is decorated with coloured Australian flag and Union Jack.

The Wingham Chronicle, 17 September 1918, reported a patriotic social was held at Mr W. McPherson's property at Bo Bo to raise funds for the purchase of an honour roll for the area. The local school was known as Bow Bow Creek until 1900. It was open in the period between February 1858 until its closure in July 1967.
