Description / Background

Located within Deniliquin's General Cemetery are 12 graves of veterans from the First and Second World Wars. They are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (C.W.G.C.). Each grave is marked with a Commission headstone, inscribed with the veteran's military service details and the emblem of their service branch.

Attached to a brick pillar within the grounds is a bronze honour roll of those who served in the Second World War.

Also on site is the Deniliquin War Cemetery, which contains additional burials.
