Description / Background

The Cameron Memorial Church, Glen Innes, was dedicated on 9 December 1920. On the same day, a number of memorial windows were unveiled by parishioners, in a ceremony overseen by the Moderator-General. The first of these was in memory of all men who fought and fell in the First World War. It was unveiled by Mr Richard Curtis, who had sons in the war and also had made the arrangements for the unveiling ceremony. The second was unveiled by Mrs Scott in memory of her husband, Thomas, who fell in France. The third was unveiled by Mrs Doust, in memory of her two sons.
