Description / Background

This memorial avenue of trees is planted alongside Albury Street in Harden, NSW. Most of the original poplar trees, dedicated to two brothers from the Heggaton family who fell in the Second World War, have been replaced.

The avenue is marked by a bushrock, with a naming plaque attached. A plaque bearing a dedication to Vaudan Duffy and Knox William Heggaton is attached to a freestanding brick wall, elsewhere in the town.
