Inscription

Erected by the residents of Howlong and district in honour of those who served and in loving memory of those who fell in the Great War 1914-1918. Also in honour and loving memory of those who fell in 2nd World War 1939-1945 The Howlong Community commemorates the re-dedication of the Memorial to all Personnel who serve and have served in the Armed Forces of Australia Lest We Forget Unveiled by the Hon. Sussan Ley MP Member for Farrer on 21st October 2007 Proudly provided by Howlong Country Golf Club Dedicated to those who served and those who died in the following conflicts: New Zealand - Maori Wars 1860 - 1863 Sudan 1885 Boer War 1899 - 1902 China-Boxer Rebellion 1900 - 1901 First World War 1914 - 1918 Second World War 1939 - 1945 Dedicated to those who served and those who died in the following conflicts: Korean War 1950 - 1953 Malaya 1948 - 1960 Sabah/Sarawak 1962 - 1966 Malayan Peninsula 1964 - 1965 Vietnam 1962 - 1973
