Concrete obelisk with a brass plaque depicting a wreath and torch attached to the front face. The memorial sits on two steps, and embedded in the lower step is a stone from Gallipoli. The memorial was opened by Mr Dermot Murray (dec.) on 25 April 1971. An Anzac Day service has been held in the park since at least 1946. Additional plaques including an honour roll are planned.
