Description / Background

The Minmi First and Second World Wars Roll of Honour consists of three marble panels attached to a brick wall. The centre panel lists those who served in the First World War and was unveiled on 21 December 1917. The two smaller panels on either side list those who served in the Second World War. The left panel is for servicemen and the right is for servicewomen.

Accompanying the roll is a tile mural, which includes depictions of soldiers, a Rising Sun and a helicopter. It also features the words 'at the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them'.
