Description / Background

This war memorial is a polished timber honour roll with gilt lettering. The names are protected by a glass panel. A colour painting of the Australian Coat of Arms with the Union Jack and Australian flags decorate the pediment.

The names listed relate to those who served in the First World War, and a plaque has been added at the bottom of the board to recognise those from the Second World War, but does not include individual names.

The memorial is located in room 4 at Morpeth Public School.
