The memorial is a marble obelisk mounted on a concrete base. There is a rifle and bayonet design carved into the marble on one side. There are the names of the fallen from the First World War and inscriptions on each face of the memorial. There are five pine trees, grown from seeds from the original Lone Pine tree from Gallipoli along the rear of the memorial. There is also a flagpole.
