Rosebery World War Two Memorial

Description

Red granite with white etched lettering background on a red granite plinth set on a concrete base and concrete paving surrounded with a 180 degree red brick wall and two vase stands one on either side. On top of the memorial is a brass sun dial surrounded by painted circular lettering.Notes on Veteran names:W A Dickson and R A Gould both have no known grave. L W Sanders may have been accidentally killed according to information in the Auckland Museum Cenotaph database. All other status codes have been confirmed using information contained in the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission database, the World War Two Nominal Roll and the National Archives of Australia.
