Three carved marble memorial plaques which were originally fixed to the walls of the church. The plaques are currently held in storage.

Annandale's Great War: A Short Walk is Marghanita da Cruz's third book in a series, which explore today's Annandale, while delving into its past, a decade at a time. Over 1200 locals left Australia as members of the Australian Imperial Force or to join British regiments. Annandale's Great War provides a self guided tour of the First World War honour boards and memorials around Annandale and the ANZACs whose names appear on them.

Plaque 1:

To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of KENNETH H. BENNETT flying officer R.A.A.F. brought down through enemy action and buried at GROS THIEL FRANCE 18th DEC. 1944, AGED 22 YEARS. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA.

Plaque 2:

To the Glory of God and In Loving Memory of RICHARD E. SKELTON - SHELDON 1st PIONEER BATT. -7th REINFt.- WOUNDED PASSCHIENDAELE, FRANCE, OCTOBER 22nd 1917 DIED JUNE 29TH 1919 AGED 25 YEARS. "Peace, perfect Peace".

Plaque 3:

To the Glory of God and In Loving Memory of HAROLD E.B. SMITH LIEUT. 19th BATT.A.I.F. Killed at Passchendale, France Oct. 8th 1917 Aged 26 ALSO ROY A.W. SMITH, LIEUT, 19th BATT.A.I.F. Died of wounds at Passchendale, France Oct. 15th 1917 Aged 23 Anzacs whose lives were nobly ended. "Greater Love Hath No Man Than This, That A Man Lay Down His Life For His Friend".
