Description / Background

A rectangular black stone fountain with an inscription below the badges of each of the forces. In front of the fountain is a block of yellow sandstone with the words, 'Lest we forget'.

Plaque left side of sandstone block:

The people of Swansea District rededicate this memorial. Sacred to the memory of all those who served our country, in the cause of peace and in all fields of conflict. 25th August 2002.

Plaque right side of sandstone block:

Dedicated to the memory of those who served in the Korea, Malaya Borneo and Vietnam Wars. Lest we forget.
