Description / Background

The war memorial hall is a red brick building in the centre of Tocumwal. Fundraising efforts for the memorial began in 1919. On the front exterior wall, either side of the front door, are two tile mosaic honour rolls honouring those who served in the First World War. Both of the rolls have three columns of names. The centre column lists those who made the supreme sacrifice, while the other two columns list those who served.
