This memorial is commemorated in two bronze panels, with staves mounted either side of one memorial, located within the magnificent main entrance to The Quadrangle, and in a Carillon of now, after rebuilding, 54 bells over a range of 4½ octaves. The Bells regularly play in recitals.

There are two bronze panels on either side of the main entrance (eastern entrance above which is the clocktower).
On the right hand side as entered, a three sub-panelled memorial is inscribed by surmounted script:

The detail of the rightmost panel is as follows:
NORTHERN SUBURBS : OFFICERS AND MEN RUGBY UNION PLAYERS W C WINDEYER’S DESCENDANTS WOLLONGONG OFFICERS AND MEN Followed by 17 names.
On the left hand side as entered, a five sub-panelled memorial is inscribed with 205 names with the memorial surmounted with the insignia of the University of Sydney.
The bronze section of the memorial is mounted on a sandstone plinth which has been inscribed:
