Description / Background

This Veterans Memorial Park is located in Aberdare, NSW. It features grassed areas, garden beds, picnic tables, and barbeque facilities. It also contains several monument, including a grouping dedicated to post-Second World War conflicts.

The group is centrally located within the park. It consists of a small paved area, surrounded by low bushes, and contains the following elements:

  • central bushrock pillar with a brass plaque
  • four brass plaques on low plinths
  • three polished stone monuments, with honour roll names of service personnel engraved on their faces
  • two flagpoles
