Nundle Memorial Hall

Description

The Nundle Memorial Hall constructed in 1929-1930 was attached to the Nundle School of Arts which was formally opened by the Minister of Mines and Agriculture Mr T M Slattery, early in August 1892. In September 1929, A McClelland called tenders for the making of 100,000 bricks or more and the hall was completed in 1930.

During World War I, the School of Arts was used for farewell and 'welcome home' functions for Nundle soldiers.
