Description / Background

This memorial is a large honour roll for the Second World War. It is in the style of a 'felt groove letter board', with the names spelt out using individual gold letters, which are pressed into the black fabric backing. The list is in alphabetical order and those who made the supreme sacrifice are marked with a gold star. The board is presented in a simple timber frame, with a glass front.

The memorial is located in the foyer of the Coffs Harbour Ex-servicemen and Women's Memorial Club. Access to it is restricted to the opening hours of the club.
