The memorial is a simple timber honour roll. It features a classical pediment at the top, which is bordered by a matching timber frame. The centre of the board is recessed, highlighting the list of names. The names are printed in gold in two sections, the top for the First and Second World Wars and the bottom for the Vietnam War.
Of the 38 names listed, only two Second World War veterans are marked with a 'K' for killed. Corporal Charles Conroy Cruickshank died of illness in Thailand on 19 July 1943 and Private Allan Douglas McDonald died of wounds in New Guinea on 8 February 1943.
The roll was updated using funds from an Anzac Centenary Grant, awarded to the Crooble Memorial Hall Committee for an Anzac Day event in 2015. Funds were also used to create a newer version of this roll, which is listed separately on the NSW War Memorials Register as the Crooble War Memorial Anzac Centenary 2015 Honour Roll. The 2015 version includes several additional names. Both are located inside Crooble War Memorial Hall and access to view them is restricted to the hall's opening hours. Outside the front entrance is the Crooble War Memorial Hall Memorial Garden, which was also funded by the grant.
