Daysdale War Memorial Hall

The Daysdale War Memorial Hall is a single-storey timber building, with a galvanised iron roof. Inside the hall is a large open room, with a timber floor, where events are held. On the walls are three honour rolls: the Daysdale and District First World War Honor Roll, the Daysdale First World War Roll of Honor, and the Coreen District Second World War Roll of Honour. Outside the building is a timber sign, bearing a dedication to all those who have served. The sign was erected on Anzac Day, 25 April 2015.

The inside of the hall has been well-maintained, through grant funding and community donations. The outside is in fair condition, with general maintenance being done by the committee. The hall is a central location for the community and is used weekly for the playgroup and the ladies craft group. It is also used during the year for functions, such as birthdays and the local football team's black-tie ball.

A large number of the Daysdale and district citizens answered the call to defend their country in both the First and Second World Wars, some of them making the ultimate sacrifice.  The community comes together at the hall on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day to reflect on these wars and the sacrifice many of their relatives made.
