It features colour illustrations of the British and Australian flags at the top and stylised lettering. In his book Walcha and Its Schooling, 150 Years, Bob Walsh states: The Glen Morrison Honour Roll, listing the names of those who served in the First World War, was placed in the hall in 1920. The roll has since moved to the Walcha Ex-Services Club. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the club. The Glen Morrison locality is 25 kilometres from Walcha, and gold rushes developed in the district from the 1870s.
