Moree Methodist Church World War I Honour Roll

Moree Methodist Church World War I Honour Roll
Description

The simply designed timber Honour Roll is dedicated to the Great European War 1914–1919 with twenty-four names listed.

The Moree Gwydir Examiner issue on 7 August 1917 described the unveiling ceremony. At the ceremony, the Reverend E W Hyde called upon Mr C J Hamilton of the property 'Dromana', who had four of his sons listed on the board – two of whom paid the supreme sacrifice – to unveil the board.

The former Moree Methodist Church is now known as the Moree Uniting Church.
