2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government interviewed WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
White marble plinth, surmounted with a white marble soldier. The names of First World War soldiers are engraved into the marble and highlighted in black. There are also later additional grey/black granite plaques inscribed with names from the First and Second World Wars and Vietnam positioned around the base. This statue is in a park setting, on the hill overlooking Adelong township.
Erected by the residents of Adelong and district in grateful remembrance of their brave men who went to fight for God, King and Country in The Great War
