Description / Background

White marble honor roll, listing 241 names of pupils and teachers who served in the First World War. The memorial is located inside the senior classroom block at Dubbo Public School. The roll was unveiled by Mrs. Thomas Worthington on 6 June 1921, and the ceremony was attended by Principal Mr J. Lydon, Mr. E.R. Hawke, President of the P. &. C. Association, Dr. E.H. Burkitt and Mr. W.P. McManamey.
