This land was donated by Mrs E. Brown as a memorial to her nephew NX25775 Signalman Joseph Edward Hobbs 8th Div A.I.F eldest son of Mr & Mrs H.E. Hobbs of Cattai who died 3rd November 1943 whilst prisoner of war in Burma
