Tumut Boer War Memorial

Description

A cenotaph made out of marble, granite and stone is situated in a garden overlooking the grounds of Richmond Park. The memorial commemorates Edward J. Morris, Denis J. Murray, Robert Boyd who served our country and also the citizens of Tumut.

Erected BY RESIDENTS OF TUMUT AND DISTRICT In Memory of TROOPERS EDWARD J. MORRIS, DENIS J MURRAY, WHO DIED OF ENTRIC FEVER. AND ROBERT BOYD, KILLED IN ACTION. SOUTH AFRICAN WAR 1901 ~1902.
