Description / Background

Brick memorial hall, first established in 1959. The refurbished hall was opened on 31 August 1991. Two metal plaques are attached to the building, detailing the two opening ceremonies.

Plaque 1

West Pymble Community Centre erected by the residents of West Pymble in co-operation with Ku-Ring-Gai Municipal Council. Opened by ALD. A. N. Campbell. M.B.E. Mayor 17th November 1959.

Plaque 2

West Pymble War Memorial Community Hall

The refurbished West Pymble War Memorial Community Hall was officially opened by Alderman Malcolm Patterson Deputy Mayor and Ward Alderman on August 31, 1991. Richard Lennon Mayor, Warren Taylor Town Clerk.
