Windsor War Memorial Gates

Description

Brick and sandstone gates at the entrance to Windsor's Memorial Park. The gates feature marble plaques, with honour roll names in gold lettering. The gates are accompanied by two guns on carriages, two flagpoles and two lamps. The foundation stone was laid on 1 December 1923 and the gates were unveiled on 24 May 1925. The plaque for the Second World War and Korea was unveiled on 5 July 1959.
