The Guyra Argus issue on 2 May 1929 described in detail the unveiling of the Llangothlin and District Honor Roll on Anzac Day 1929. Mr R McLean presided and called upon Lieut.-Colonel H F White to unveil the honour roll.
The honour roll is metal, designed by the Sydney Wunderlich Company. The bronze relief depicts the Union Jack on the left, the Australian flag on the right, and an Australian soldier at the centre, with a background of trench sandbags with rifles, bayonets fixed.
Llangothlin is a small community located on the New England Highway north of Guyra. Once the Llangothlin Hall was rented, the honour roll was moved to the Soldiers' Memorial Hall in Guyra.
This honour roll was previously identified as a Guyra Honour Roll.
