Description / Background

This war memorial is a large timber honour roll for the First World War. It has a simple but elegant design, consisting of three panels, each containing a Gothic-style arched frame. The frames form a border around the three columns of names.

There are 98 names on the roll, of those from the St Andrew's Anglican parish in Tingha, NSW, who served in the war. Nine names are marked with a cross, labelled as 'Fallen'.

A small plaque attached to the bottom right-hand corner of the board states it was donated by "Parishioners and Sunday School children". No other information about the history of the memorial has been found.
