Wm embarked in Melbourne with the Mildren brothers 27.5.16 on HMAT 'Ascanius'.

It is thought that Bill was a station hand on 'Bringenbrong' but fell out with the Mitchells over a 'borrowed' stallion! Perhaps Bradney's Gap was named for him when he took cattle up there to the high country, and Bradney Street to honour his loss in the War.
