6.www.canberrahistory.org.au records a photograph of Donnelly taken in Sydney on 2.5.1917.  Inscription on photograph reads" To Mrs Wark from Pte AA Donnelly 2/5/17". Donnelly served on Gallipoli but was wounded at Lone Pine and repatriated. He re-enlisted in 1916(4 Bn 22 Re-enforcements ?) but disembarked at Cape Town because of his previous injury and was sent home.
