Enlisted 08/1915 - Clarence was a stretcher bearer and was WIA with gunshot in France on 27th July 1916 - On 15th August 1917 he was taken prisoner at Dernicourt, Northern France on the Somme, a village of Hermies near Bullecourt and interned as a POW at Limburg, Germany - Listed in the Hills Hero's listing with the Hills Shire Council - Returned 1919
