Enlisted July 1915. Various disciplinary issues leading to a court martial in May 1917. Subsequently wounded in action (shrapnel wound to the arm) September 1917 and then KIA May 1918 (when a shell exploded directly above a trench he was defending). Killed outright. Aged 31.
