Enlisted 18/9/1914 at Sydney. Served in hte Voluntary Cadets. Son of Edward W & Jessie Adell Fitzgerald. Died of wounds (sever spinal compound fracture developed into spinal meningitis), France, admitted to hospital 17/8/16, aged 22-23 years. Buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, France. Cousin Sergt L M Fitzgerald died 4 days prior. Served on the Western Front.
