3rd son of Hugh Hamilton & Annie Sophia Hood, Macquarie St, Cowra. Brother: David William Hood. Worked as a telegraphist at local Post Office. Prior to that he was on the staff to the Cowra Free Press. Died aged 23 years. Cousins: Pte AFO Hood DOW & WR Hood KIA. Served on the Western Front.
