Labourer from Yalgogrin. Enlisted 11/12/1915 at Galong NSW. Son of Thomas Hough (died 23/8/1917) & Mary Ann Hough, Barryrenie, Cowra. KIA in France aged 22 years. Buried at Moquet Farm. John had 3 other brothers go to the front whom all returned home - Jeremiah #452, Michael, Thomas. Served on the Western Front.
