Served in the Australian Army - First Australian Imperial Force (1st AIF) in France.
There is only one W C Wilson from NSW who died during the First World War. Listed as William, he was born in Wollongong and his address and next of kin were listed as Wee Waa NSW. William also served at Gallipoli, his records are marked 'ANZAC'.
