Leading Aircraftman Alexander Arthur Currie was born at Kenthurst NSW on 7 February 1917. He joined the Royal Australian Air Force on 24 May 1941. He was issued with service number 411575 and discharged on 30 October 1941. He then rejoined the services (Army) at Kenthurst 19 January 1942 and issued with service number NX84497. He listed his next-of-kin as living at Rouse Hill Road. He was discharged on 11 February 1944.
