Please note, this veterans surname is spelt incorrectly on the Kenthurst and Annangrove First World War Roll of Honor (1916). It is spelt Davis, instead of Davies. Arthur was born at Rouse Hill and attended Annan Grove Public School near Rouse Hill from 1900 to 1907. He Enlistment date: on 7 December 1915 and served in France. He suffered from Trench Feet (26 April 1916) and returned to Australia 1 February 1918. He died of tuberculosis on 8 May 1918 at Wentworth Falls Convalescent Home NSW.
