This bronze plaque is dedicated to Sapper Rowan Robinson, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on 6 June 2011. It includes details of his military service and states he was a student at Cudgen Public School from 1993–1994.

The plaque is attached to a brick wall at the Cudgen War Memorial, which is located at the front of the school. Commemorative services organised by the school take place on site, at various times throughout the year. Access to the school's memorials are restricted at other times.
