- Private Cosgrove was buried in the Sofia War Cemetery, Bulgaria. His surname is spelt incorrectly as 'Cosgrave' on the plaque in the cemetery (pictured). A request has been made by the RSL Victor Harbor Sub-Branch, South Australia to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a replacement to be manufactured.
