Description

The roundabout is located at the corner of Centre and Johnston Streets. It consists of three cement-rendered columns with plinths. Attached to the columns are Australia Remembers plaques and on each of the plinths are insignias of the Australian Services.

Australia Remembers 1945–1995 was a program developed by the Australian Government to commemorate the 50th year anniversary of the end of World War II. These plaques commemorate the Australian men and women who served Australia during the World War II conflict.
