This plaque commemorates the 75th anniversary of Remembrance Day, 11 November 1993.

On 11 November 1993, then—Prime Minister the Hon. Paul Keating delivered a commemorative address at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. An unknown soldier, referred to as the Unknown Australian Soldier, was interred at the Australian War Memorial that same day.

This commemorative plaque is set on a rock within a small garden located at the entrance to the Casino War Memorial Pool. Another commemorative plaque is set within the same garden on a nearby rock.
