Description / Background

Condobolin's Memorial Park was established in 1937 in honour of those who served in the First World War. At the entrance to the park is an ornate brick wall, supporting numerous honour rolls for conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The rolls were unveiled on 28 September 1997. Above the wall is a metal arch, identifying the name of the park. In front of the wall is a low brick plinth, with a granite obelisk on top. Flag staffs flank this smaller structure. The ground surrounding the wall is paved.
