Polished wooden Honour Board with gold lettering. The names are in three columns, with a painted Union Jack and Australian flag crossed at the top of the centre column of names. There is roughly one and three-quarters columns for names from the First World War, and the remaining column space for names from the Second World War.
The original location of the Congregational Church is not known, although the records of the deceased veterans listed indicates they were all resident in the Maitland area (see records for C H and R L Proctor, brothers resident in Maitland).
