Description

The memorial is a sandstone memorial stone, with a memorial plaque, installed in front of a 9 metre flag pole on a 3 x 3 metre paved area.

It was arranged through the Entrance/Long Jetty RSL Sub Branch via a grant from the Federal Department of Veterans' Affairs.

The installation of the memorial was completed in March 2018 and the dedication ceremony was held on 19 April 2018. The inaugural Anzac Day commemoration service was held on 24 April 2018. Both services were attended by the residents of the Village, which included a number of veterans, as well as invited guests from the local area.
